The course is designed in accordance with the Ch.V/1 of the STCW' 78,as amended, IMO model course 1.02 and national maritime standard

The course is open for seafarers, immediately involved and responsible for the handling of cargo on oil tankers.
The programme meets the mandatory requirements for training of ship crews:the Regulation V/1 and A-V/1, articles 8-14 of STCW 78', as amended.
The Course is based on IMO “Model Course 1.02 - Specialized Training for Oil Tankers”2006 Edition, the Directive 2008/106/EС of the European parliament and of the Council, and the National Maritime Standard as well.
The course emphasizes on personal and crew safety and oil pollution prevention, procedures and regulations for correct operation on the different types of oil tankers and with different types of cargoes.
The practical part of the training is carried out on Cargo Hadling Simulator, Kongsberg AS, DNV approved.
Entry standards: the course is for seafarers on operational and management level and to have copmleted the approved by Bulgarian Maritime Administration courses in:
Advance Fire Fighting  and
Tanker Familiarization
The course can be carried out in English on request.
