ISF MARLINS ENGLISH LANGUAGE TEST

The Bulgarian Maritime Training Centre / BMTC/ has been awarded the status of Marlins Approved Test Centre in accordance with the standards agreed by the United Kingdom Maritime and Coastguard Agency. Marlins is the leading brand in language training solutions for the shipping industry. Working closely with the ISF, UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency and the IMO, Marlins seeks to provide high quality and cost effective English language training and assessment products and courses, which comply with the rigorous standards, required by the shipping industry as set out in the IMO STCW 95 convention.

The UK MCA Approved ISF Marlins English Language Test is a computer-based test designed to assess the English knowledge of all ranks and nationalities of seafarer. The test is recognised worldwide by ship managers, crewing agencies and training institutions and can be used as a basis for recruitment and training purposes. The ISF Marlins English Language Test results are covered by Certificate.

Following and servicing the needs of its clients, BMTC organizes also preparatory English language courses to help candidates successfully pass the ISF Marlins English Language Test. We offer specially designed programmes covering 48 or 60 hours of training, highly qualified lecturers from our Marine English Department, excellent working conditions.
