The course is designed in accordance with the requirements of Ch.VI of the STCW' 78/95 as amended and national maritime standards

The course Basic Safety Training consists of four modules: Personal Safety and Social Responsibilities Elementary First Aid Survival at Sea Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention The course is developed in compliance with Regulation VI/1 and Table A VI/1-4 of STCW 95 as amended, as per Directive 2008/106/EC, IMO model course 1.21 and the national maritime standards.
The training is approved by the Bulgarian Maritime Administration, which after training completion issues the relevant certificate, valid for 5 years.
Active trainees participation and successful passing theoretical written tests and practical exams is of high importance for successful course completion.
The course is carried out in specialized rooms at BMTC main building, on swimming pool and at the training vessel 'Petar Beron' and her fire fighting ground.

Final exams of each of modules are videorecorded as per BMA requirements.

The course is carried out in English on customer request.
